My Story-
I was born in Mexico to a
poor family where I had six brothers and two sisters. Striving for a better
life I came to the United States when I was 17 years old and after a few years
got married.
My parents taught me to
always be honest and above all to never compromise my integrity. We did not
have much in the way of possessions, but were rich in our heritage and our
values. It is my desire to continue my father’s legacy of integrity and respect
of his peers in my real estate career.
My Accomplishments-
I completed a course in
English as a Second Language and through night school courses obtained my High
School diploma by completing my GED. I later studied to become a car mechanic
and received my certificate in 1987. Feeling the desire to grow my knowledge
and better my life, I pursued a commercial driver’s license in 1988 and worked
as a truck driver and boom operator. The company I worked for was very happy
with my performance, but I yet again strived for more in life.
In search of a better
quality of life for me and my family I took a job in construction. During this
time I went to college to study real estate and worked my way up to Construction
Foreman. In 2004 I finished my real estate classes, took the real estate exam
and successfully passed and received my real estate agent’s license.
Additionally, in 2005 I was sworn in as a Notary Public for the State of
California.
My Real Estate Career-
For several years I worked
as a loan agent assisting renters in pursing the dream of owning a home. I held
numerous seminars at apartment complexes as well as at community centers and
churches throughout the Napa Valley on the different options available in
loans.
After many successful
years as a loan agent I was ready re-focus my efforts in real estate by moving
into a real estate sales career specializing in single-family residential. I
met Burt Polson, broker of ACRES Real Estate Services through a member of my
family who was a past client of his. After seeing my drive to always grow and
pursue a better life as well as my high level of integrity, Burt brought me in
as a residential agent.
My current focus is to
help the homeowners who have been affected by the sub-prime loan crises. The
owners who may be forced to sell because they can’t make payments, are having to
sell-short or are approaching eminent foreclosure are my clients. I also
represent several lenders who may represent properties they have acquired that
must be sold. I like to think if myself as an advocate for the borrower, but
yet able to represent the best interests of the lenders. |
